Between 2006 and 2015 US Fire Departments attended 1,210 fires in warehouses and logistics centers, this does not included any cold storage units. These 1,210 fires make up less than 1% of the building fires within the US.

 

The average annual damage caused by these fires was $155 Million, resulting in 3 civilian deaths and 19 injuries. When flammable or combustible liquids or gases were involved in the fire there was a high chance of there being a civilian injury, this occurred in 31% of the instances.
